On a Friday morning around 10 am, I noticed that a light fixture in my laundry room was precariously dangling by its wires. Remembering my satisfactory past experiences with JB Electric, I immediately called them, expecting to schedule a repair appointment for the following week. To my pleasant surprise, they responded with remarkable promptness, arriving before 12 noon that same day to address the issue. The electrician, Joshua, demonstrated commendable professionalism and a friendly demeanor as he efficiently repaired the light fixture. He informed me that the fixture had been hanging by a mere screw, and the fixture insert was cracked. Skillfully, he replaced the damaged insert and securely reattached the light fixture. Johnathon Brown Electric was responsive to my initial service request to replace a faulty outlet in my garage and also to provide recommendations on how to optimize the heating situation in the area, and they arrived on time and presented themselves as professionals from start to finish.

Both employees were personable, engaging, knowledgeable and had the ability to give insight and recommendations without coming off as condescending as they really took the time to explain things in an easy to understand fashion, while giving options based on what they would do (or have done) in their own homes, including taking the time to walk through various product options on Amazon with me in order to ensure I was ordering the right supplemental products without fail.

Overall, I would highly recommend these guys as they provided fantastic service at a great value and truly had a passion for their work and for educating others so that an informed decision could be made.

They had no issue spending plenty of time giving me free advice on the best layout for my area and actually steered me away from expensive upgrades that others had recommended in the past, so their honesty and transparency was greatly appreciated, as unfortunately not every company carries the same level of integrity.

I ran into electrical issues while working on a closet shelving project over a weekend. I left JB Electric a voicemail and they called me back first thing Monday morning to get me on their schedule. Technician Steve came out to address the problem, he was very thorough and explained the process of what needed to be fixed. Steve did a great job identifying the issues and was very professional/friendly. I was very satisfied with the outcome, as well as the customer service. Steve was a pleasure to work with. He was polite and friendly. The job took a lot longer than we expected but he worked diligently until 8 PM on a Friday to make sure it got done. Having had a bad experience with an electrician recently, we put in the effort to find a true professional. After a call out in a local Facebook Group asking who people recommend, the name Johnathan Brown Electric was being named over and over again. We called and I’m so glad we did.

Here are my takeaways:

- the lady who answers the phone is all about customer service. She is excellent.

- Johnathan is particular. We had a challenging job and he explored four different options to ensure the best solution combined with the best price.

- Johnathan has integrity, is hard working and very professional in both his work and communications.

- Johnathan’s team are professionals. He ensures that who he hires is both skilled and a good representative of his brand.

Joshua visited today and replaced some breakers and installed a whole house surge protector. He did a thorough job, was fair, and pleasant. Their office, Michelle, also is great to work with.
